Cruz, MS, CISSP, GSEC, CHEP, Orlando Campus Cybersecurity Program Director, has just published “Corporate Information Governance with Business Wisdom” for SANS Institute Information Security Reading Room. More than 75,000 unique visitors read papers in the Reading Room every month and it has become the starting point for exploration of topics ranging from SCADA to wireless security, from firewalls to intrusion detection. The SANS Reading Room features over 3,030 original computer security white papers in 111 different categories. His study provides actionable and comprehensive strategies to develop effective corporate information governance. Three principles are addressed: governance of accountability, clarity of purpose, and clarity of collaboration.
