Greenville Campus – Faculty and staff are proud to honor the first graduating class of the campus’ Associate Degree in Nursing program. The Greenville campus has long offered a Practical Nursing program, but this is the first cohort for students aiming to become Registered Nurses.

Greenville Campus – Students, faculty, and staff kicked off the fall season with a drive to provide respite care kits for the homeless at New Horizon Family Health Services. ECPI University graduate Kendal Seymore runs respite care at New Horizon and was happy to receive the many donations of clothing, as well as toiletries, socks, shoes, and toenail clippers.

Virginia Beach/Online Campus – ECPI University was the presenting sponsor for The Up Center’s Step Up 2020, an annual event where participants climb stairs to raise money for the organization. With help from students, faculty, and staff, the Center was able to raise more than $63,000 towards its COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund which directly supports quality, evidenced-based mental health services for children and families who may be experiencing financial hardship or are uninsured.

Virginia Beach Campus – Virginia Beach and Suffolk, Virginia police officers spent time training on the campus’ MILO simulator, the law enforcement industry’s best-in-class firearms and use-of-force training system.

Students William Grubbs, Miya GV-Hackett, and staff member Mika Allen were among those selling candy on campus to support The Pearlie Harris Center for Breast Health

Greenville Campus – Once again, ECPI University showed its support for Bon Secours Health System and The Pearlie Harris Center for Breast Health. Throughout the month of October, students, faculty, and staff raised money for the Center and participated in the annual Pearls & Pumps annual gala, held virtually this year due to COVID-19. 

Development Manager for University Partnerships Donna Dennis, is a board member of “The Women of St. Francis” and Campus President Karen Burgess and Career Services Advisor Jeri Lynn Smith are members of the group which is comprised of ladies from the community who raise money and awareness of issues centered on women’s breast health.
